Home Remedies Using Apple Cider Vinegar

Many homes have a bottle of apple cider vinegar sitting on a shelf in the pantry. We use it as an ingredient in cooking for marinades, dressings, and pickling to name a few.

But it’s also an ingredient many use for home remedies and many people can’t do without.

Here are some quick and easy home remedies using apple cider vinegar.

Athlete’s Foot
If you suffer from athlete’s foot, you can use apple cider vinegar as a foot soak.
Mix water and apple cider vinegar (a 50/50 mix) and let your feet soak for about 10 – 20 minutes each night for about two weeks and you should see it completely go away.

Sinus Sufferers
If you suffer from sinus problems, mix about two tablespoons apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons water; put it in a steam inhaler for relief of sinus symptoms.

If you don’t have a steam inhaler, try putting the ingredients in a microwave safe cup for about 30 – 40 seconds then breathe in the steam.

Plugged Ears
If you are suffering from plugged ears, get out the apple cider vinegar and a dropper.

Lay your head down with the ear facing up and put a couple drops in the ear. Let it sit and work a few minutes or until you notice a crackling sound. Then tip your head to the side and let the remaining liquid drain into a towel.

Do the other ear in the same manner. If you have open sores in your ears it may sting a little, so you may not want to use it.

Menstrual Pain
Take one teaspoon apple cider vinegar three times a day prior to meals. This home remedy can help relieve pain and discomfort.

Itching
If you are the bearer of a problematic itch, try adding a few teaspoons to a warm bath to calm the irritating itch.

Apple cider vinegar can also be used directly on the problem area to help relieve the itch.
